Win an Associate Producer credit on my next feature-length film!
I started another Substack (freetrulyindie.substack.com) and I’m trying to increase the amount of subscribers I have on there. It’s completely free to subscribe, and the purpose of the Substack is simply to send one email each month listing the previous month’s truly independent feature-length films released for free online. This is vital, as so many of these films sit on places like YouTube with very low view counts, due to so many people not knowing they exist.
In exchange for your help in increasing the amount of subscribers to freetrulyindie.substack.com, I will give you an Associate Producer credit on my next feature-length film. Your name will appear in the end credits and on IMDb. Here’s how to win:
All you have to do is get 20 people to subscribe for free to freetrulyindie.substack.com in addition to yourself. Then, tell me their email addresses so that I can check that they’re on the list of subscribers (you can contact me at killthelionfilms@gmail.com). There is no time limit on this—you can complete this challenge whenever you want, and then whatever is the very next feature-length film that I am releasing your name will be there as an Associate Producer.
All of these people must be real people, and they must have subscribed willingly and through no chicanery on your part. I should be able to contact any one of them and communicate with a real person who knows what they subscribed to.
There is no limit to how many people can win this contest—whoever completes the challenge wins. I hope that this contest will get more people to subscribe to freetrulyindie.substack.com. If we can grow the subscribers to a very high amount, then it will no longer matter how many followers someone has when they release their truly independent feature-length film for free online—their work will reach the same amount of people as someone with tons of followers. The, with the ‘popularity contest’ aspect removed from the equation, people can focus more entirely on making the very best films they can, rather than being ‘popular’.
Thank you for reading, and I hope you do this challenge!
